GOASEAN Enters The Fast Growing OTT Space with Strategic Partners, TONTON & DIMSUM!

GOASEAN team in Hong Kong for the International Film & TV Market (FILMART) with strategic partners, tonton & dimsum!


Last week in Kuala Lumpur we revealed that we’ll be available on tonton. Today, the GOASEAN team is in Hong Kong at the International Film & TV Market (FILMART), and we are thrilled to announce we will also be available on dimsum! 

That’s right, GOASEAN original series will be available anytime, anywhere on tonton –Malaysia’s first and largest homegrown video streaming service, owned by Media Prima Berhad (Media Prima), and dimsum -the latest Malaysian subscription video-on-demand (VOD) service focusing on Asian content operated by SMG Entertainment Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Star Online Sdn Bhd, a member of Star Media Group).

Fred Wang, the Chairman of Asia Content Business Summit (ACBS) witnessed the announcement and shared with us that he believes, “…the partnership between the three players (GOASEAN, tonton, and dimsum) are sound and will drive new opportunities over Southeast Asian market and boost the content industry further.”

All of our GOASEAN Original Series, will be provided with Mandarin subtitles on dimsum and 15 of our GOASEAN Original Series will be available on dimsum starting April 2017!
