Brunei Darussalam means 'Brunei the abode of peace' in Arabic. Also known as Brunei, this small peaceful country offers the largest oil fields in Southeast Asia. With its riches, Brunei is able to preserve its lush rainforests and mangroves which are home to several species including the Proboscis monkey. Brunei’s capital, Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB), is known for its wonderful places to eat and shop. In BSB magnificent mosques contrast with the charming Kampong Ayer water village –the largest stilt settlement in the world!
