  • Giác Lâm Pagoda

    Bánh bèo is one of Vietnam’s favourite snacks. It is made by steaming a mixture of rice flour, tapioca flour, water, salt and some vegetable oil in tiny bowls or ramekins. The resulting steamed cakes are then eaten straight from their containers with servings of dried shrimp and pork crackling, along with a special dipping sauce. It is usually sold in quantities that are meant to be shared, such as eight bowls.
