The magnificent Chin Swee Caves Temple is a five-storey Taoist temple situated on a 28-acre plot of land with stunning panoramic views of lush green slopes of virgin forest. It can be reached in less than 10 minutes from the resort by car. The temple was built by the late founder of Genting to venerate a revered Buddhist monk, Qingshui who hails from the late founder’s birth village in Fujian province, China. The temple carries many inscriptions bearing the monk’s life and work as well as statues of the monk himself. There’s also a 15-metre tall Buddha statue as well as a nine-storey pagoda installed with 10,000 blessing lamps for devotees. Due to the immense popularity of these blessing lamps, only 2,000 are left.
