Social Media Specialist

Job responsibilities:

  • -Create and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification on multiple platforms especially Facebook and Instagram
  • -Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • -Continuously improve by capturing and analysing appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • -Collaborate with other departments such as content and sales & marketing to manage brand reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions


  • -2-5 years of proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • -Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, New Media or Public Relations is preferred
  • -Fluency in English, advanced Malay or Mandarin is an asset
  • -Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills
  • -Adequate social networking experience and knowledge of web design, web development, Adobe Photoshop, CRO and SEO, and social media analytics tools
